In a few years and mostly thanks to a good dose of knowledge and originality, Power House Amuse, better known as Amuse, has become one of the most famous companies in the extremely competitive tuner market in Japan. In the recent past, the highlight of Amuse has been the Amuse Honda S2000. Available in the video game Gran Turismo 4 and Queen of the "Touge" (Toh-gay) races, a sort of official face-off on a rally-looking stage in the Japanese mountains, very popular in the Land of the Rising Sun.
This year at the 08 TAS, Amuse had a couple of Nissans at its booth. First the "Amuse Nismo-380 Superleggera." Based on the Nismo Fairlady Z 380RS that we test drove here at NihonCar.com (check the reviews page), it's equipped with the R1 Titan exhaust system and produces 400HP instead of the original 386 and at the same time, sees its weight reduced by a good 140 kilos.
Beside it, the GT-R featured a new front lip, exhaust system and rear spoiler (same as the Fairlady's) made of carbon fiber in order to add extra downforce for better handling...on the race track of course!
