Honda Civic : A Civic Type-R race car is put on sale in Japan!

Being a race driver, entering the world of motorsport; that's a dream for a lot of youngsters and gentlemen drivers, all passionate about cars and racing. Unfortunately, as in most cases, money can be an issue... well if it was, it certainly won't be as much as before... at least not in Japan!

The Japanese car manufacturer Honda announced and put on sale a race version of the brand new Civic Type-R, ready to go for track-only action, in a dedicated series at an amazingly affordable price! But before booking your flight for Tokyo, let me give you some information about this high revvin' demon...

The car features a stripped up interior; the only thing you'll find is a steering wheel, gearbox, pedals and a bucket seat... this Civic is not allowed to drive on open roads...the engine is the famous i-VTEC 2 litres DOHC equipped with the manual 6 transmission and the front wheel drive layout, as on all Civics ever built.
The operation is good for advertising, and also for attracting people to drive on tracks instead of the famous touge mountain roads...

Time for the heart attack, this Type-R race car is sold at a juicy 1,690,500 yen, that is 10.500€!
