Honda Civic Type-RR : The Civic Type-RR in Japan tomorrow? SCOOP?

Honda Type-R fans your attention please!

The CARTOP magazine claims that a new Honda Civic Type-R is on its way and could be announced tomorrow by the Japanese manufacturer, as it this wasn't enough of a good news, the rumour states that this "Honda Civic Type-RR would be a MUGEN version!!

So, what to expect from this new Type-R compared to the "standard" one that I and Masaki Nishihara had the pleasure to test drive a couple weeks ago? First of all, it seems that this "RR" will be a limited and very exclusive edition, only 300 units will be made and sold...among the modifications and enhancements are listed: an increased width (+20mm: 1790mm), a lowered (-15mm) but also lighter body(-30kg: 1240kg) and a more powerful motor (from 225PS to 240PS @ 8.000rpm and 22.2kg-m of torque instead of 21.9).

Moreover, CARTOP says that the price should approximatively reach 4 million Yens (2.83M now) so that's an impressive 7300€ jump which, after all, remains fairly accessible, remember that this is a Type-R and a Mugen one!
