TAS 07 - Yashio Factory Fairlady Z (Z350)
Looking at the various creations from the 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon that we covered here(Blitz, DAMD, Kenstyle...), some of you may have noticed an overall style which tends to be a bit..."bland"; colors are simple, often dark, the aero parts are relatively discrete(with some exceptions)and the result looks like a "luxury sport version" of the base model.

Honestly I don't mind at all but, what about a little bit of eccentricity ?

Hopefully Yashio Factory is here ! This tuner has its garage located just outside of Tokyo but his reputation of speed and pink colored cars has now gone overseas. For many years, his owner, Mister Okamura, has made a living of transforming japanese sportscars(mostly Nissans)into SUPER sportscars for speed or drift races. After working on the majority of the Nissan Silvias built, he and his team started preparing the latest baby of the family: the Fairlady Z(350Z) !

The hours spent on this project are visible in the pictures below, the body kit is impressive, especially the "round" front bumper, original rims and rear spoiler are also on the menu but the most amazing surely is the paintjob that seems taken straight out of an anime or video game !(maybe both!)
This Fairlady sure means business but the mechanical specifications have once again been kept secret, just to get an idea of the potential of this car, know that the latest Nissan Silvia S15 that was given the same paintjob produced 430HP out of its 2 liter turbocharged engine and could lap Tuskuba in 59 seconds!

This Yashio Factory sure is a puff of fresh air! Arigato Oka-Chan !!
