The Tokyo Auto Salon is the japanese tuner paradise and at some point I would even say that Japan is the paradise for car customization !
As the majority of those tuners work on the same vehicles by Nissan, Toyota, Honda and others the difference is often made by the fame of the company and the list of services available...in this case you have to put Blitz at some place at the top of the page.
The Blitz company started his business 26 years ago and is now represented all around the world, it also features a sponsored car in the D1GP(drift)and became, throughout the years, one of the biggest name in the japanses tuning industry.
Now that the light presentation was made let's take a look at what Blitz had to show at the TAS07.
Among the various vehicles proposed our attention was caught by a Lexus LS460 which received the usual "tuner treatment" made of huge rims(20 inches), heavyweight class bodykit and tainted windows, style and power basically.
A few meters away was the Mazda Roadster, the big "Turbo System" sticker on the hood certainly caught your attention, introducing the newest turbocharger technology provided by Blitz, yes the Blitz company is much more than just a bodykit maker and after a couple hours in one of their garages your car might easily become a road devil...but back to the Roadster and its nice aero parts keeping the original line of the car intact, do I have to mention that the rims are 18 inches ? Yeah I know you'd figure it out.
The latest Sedan made by Nissan, the Skyline 350GT(same name as the coupe?)has been out for a couple weeks only but tuners from all over the island are already building parts for it. The Blitz version gives it the typical "Immaculate White" color, rims of a good size and another sporty bodykit with the little touch of discretion that more and more customers are looking for nowadays.
Numbers now! The prices? no...horsepower and torque values...no, I'm starting to wonder if those are taboo or if this Tokyo Auto Salon is all about style!
No matter what we have to admit that the quality of the Blitz products is, once again, undeniable.
