Conclusion:
The Mitsubishi DELICA D5 is the incarnation of this new type of vehicles that more and more people seem to be looking for; a family car with a little touch of "adventure" through the all-wheel-drive system and high ground clearance. Most owners will probably never take it to muddy ruts and gaps but simply want to appreciate the extra safety feel that comes from driving this type of car. All in all, we really enjoyed driving it for a week, the DELICA D5 is a great family van equipped with Mitsubishi's best technology.

Might wanna proofread it again. It seems like a nice vehicle and I doubt if it comes "equipped with Shit Paddles behind the wheel".
Good article though. Too bad it will never see the U.S. It's a vehicle that makes sense.

We currently own a 2000 Mazda MPV with 275000 KM on the odometer. The size and agility of this minivan has served us well. The 2.5 liter engine does not want to quit. The Outlander is on our list for a replacement, but after seeing the Delica D5 we hope that Mitsubishi will offer this model in N America. The AWD drive will be an asset after this severe winter. Please let us know if plans for an intro is imminent.
Thanks You

I own a L400 Delica and the only other vechile I want to replace it with is another Delica.
Are the D5's going to be exported to Europe?
Considering the top price in Japan is around £17000 brand new, what price are units going to cost over here.
Is it possible to buy a brand new unit in Japan and ship it over to Europe?

YES, EXPORT IT TO EUROPE PLEASE! GIVE IT A DIESEL ENGINE.
THE SALES ARE GUARANTED. WE HAD ENOUGH OF VW TRANSPORTER 4MOTION !
DELICA D:5 IS THE CHOICE. IT IS REALLY GOOD LOOKING AND WEL DONE.
THERE IS A GAP ON THE MARKET FOR MINIBUS-VAN SUV 4X4 CARS - DELICA IS THE WAY FORWARD.

Hello,
I have just seen the test of the Delica D 5 4x4 on your site.
Very impressive. I live in Switzerland, and this would be just
fine for me and my family. We have been orphans since there
is no longer the L300 4x4 (the old Delica).
Unfortunately the Delica D 5 is not imported here, leaving us only with the
possibility to go to very expensive Mercedes Vito/Vaneo 4x4, or VW Transporter 4x4.
Their prices start at CHF 50'000,--, while the top Delica D5 goes for CHF 35'000,-- in Japan.
Even if you add something for transport, left stear
and so on, you come at CHF 40'000,-- !!
If you have any contacts with Mitsubishi in Japan, please let them know urgently that
there is a huge market for them with the Delcia D 5 4x4 here, being in the alpine countries
(France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy), or the north of Europe.
I am sure that it will also go strong in Canada, the USA, and South America.
Thanking you for transmitting this information to Mitsubishi.

YES, we want it in Europe! especialy in Scandinavia!
There are no 4x4 vans, which can drive on bad roads, on the marked here.
Hiace (Granvia) 4x4 is for the road!
Volkswagen T5 4motion also! And poor quality.
Mercedes Viano/Vito to expensive and poor quality.
Hyundai H1-Starex 4x4 (based on Delica/L400) production stoped!
So I have to drive my old VW T3 Syncro, because I don't get a new 4x4 "off-road" van!!!!!!!

I own one of these in Japan. It is a great car. yes it does have a paddle shifter behind the wheel. The only problem is the lack of power. I used to drive the Pajero and this was alot more fun to drive but the Delica is much better for the kids in the back!

Please export to the UK with a big Diesel engine, or a big petrol with LPG conversion!

the world is crying out for a large van shape that ooks good, and that is available in turbo diesel and based on a Pajero frame. Many families have three kids (+friends) to take to soccer rpactise, and to take on holiday to beaches and snow - teh 4x4 is a must - even better with low range 4x4 for beach driving.
A TD engine for good towing of boat/trailer (for all those kid's luggage). The utimate family car. Wake up Mitsu!!

Is anyone reflecting these requests? Or is ist just crying into a forest? Where is the answer for the question: Why this car or this sort has not been imported to Europe as it is obvious there is demand for it on the market? To be honest, I don´t understand... Not angry, just very curious
