As a Japanese car enthusiast you probably know the tuner
Mugen, specialized in Honda vehicles and seen on
multiple occasions on NihonCar.
The word "tuner" could easily be replaced by "designer" as the majority of the changes are visible from the exterior.
Actually and despite great knowledge and excellence in motorsports, Mugen, for Honda street vehicles, focuses on aerodynamic modifications...what most of us would simply call: body kits!

So how could I possibly decline the invitation to go and take a look at their job on a modified Honda Stream? The Stream is a nice looking minivan that I had the chance to test drive some months ago, go check it out,
it's here!.
For the Stream, Mugen proposes 2 body kits, both are available no matter what version and colour of the base model that the customer may have.
Those 2 are the
"Coupe" and the "
Sedan"...basically would you prefer a "race car" style or "luxury 7 seater"?
If you're the kind of guy that has a pretty heavy foot on the right pedal (again let me remind you that no engine modifications have been made) or if you like the style of racing machines then the "Coupe" is what you may be looking for.
This version, the grey one on the pictures, is "dressed" with 2 under-spoilers at the front and the back like what you can see on race cars to increase the down force and improve stability, those are two-tone. The side skirts are unique and share the same "bottom line" colour. Maybe just a detail to some of you but 2 different front grilles are available depending on the "face" you want the Stream to have. An impressive package!
Now for the others that find the look of the regular Stream a bit bland but at the same time don't want to radically transform its appearance there is the "Sedan" version.
That car is the blue one on our photos, it features a more discrete one tone body kit following the lines of the car without much exaggeration. Classy!
Both models are also fitted with a rear top spoiler and very nice Mugen rims to match the style of the body.
As we're talking about Mugen products, the overall quality just can't be contested, at the same time, chassis upgrades like suspensions or brakes are possible.
At the end, with a price going from 169.500 (Sedan) to 265.500 Yen (Coupe) the Mugen touch certainly gives the Honda Stream that bit of personality that it is lacking when stock. Another great job and we can't wait for more!
