Desperately in needs of inspiration, Daihatsu unveiled is Citroen Mehari and Honda THAT’S concepts clones or know as Basket and Deca… Nothing really breath taking with these two, I must admit however that I like the Basket the most, since it reminds me of the Mehari, and I am sure it will have some success in Japan, but not sure if this kind of car will appeal to people outside of the JDM Market.
More down to the earth and with a more realistic design, the eS is a very interesting concept which seems closer to a production version that both the Deca and Basket… Thanks to its Eco friendly engine will eS will offer a 30km/l consumption…
Finally we could have a closer look at the Cocoa and yep, this car will definitively be a future hit in Japan, its cute curves and lines will surely please many future (women) owners and its nice little “Tech Touch” thanks to its optional rearview camera LCD placed into the rearview mirror, is really a plus here.
