The Three Door EURO Civic Type-R to Hit Japan
Here's a surprise for all Civic Type-R fans. The Euro Civic Type-R, exclusive to the European market, thanks to its attractive design will hit Japan in Spring 2009.

Pretty surprising since only the EURO Type-R will be released. Many lucky journalists, like the team behind the British TV program Fifth Gear, tested it and compared it to the Japanese version. They concluded the EURO Type-R was less powerful that the Japanese version.

We admit it's an interesting move by Honda to import such vehicle. Thanks to its particular design, way different from what Japanese people are used to seeing, they may have a good performance car for those willing to drive differently and in style.

What?!? Honda is going to import the UK Type R to Japan! Why is it that almost every country in the world has the option to purchase a Type R EXCEPT for the U.S. Sure, we don't want the UK Type R as its looks are questionable and the performance is nowhere near the J-spec version, but we want a Civic Type R nonetheless. Do I have to say it again...I guess so. C'mon Honda!

Damn!!! Honda could sell this car next to the current Civic in the US as the CRX. How come Japan and Europe can get this car and not us. Damn!!! Hopefully we will get that Accord wagon I just saw in Autoweek.

Probably because it would be too costly for passing emissions, take away from sales of the SI, and all in all, it would be priced too high for what it is worth. Just look at the mugen si, that shit is a total waste.

we need Type R in the US, which ever form it takes...I personally would love the this one because it looks so damn good and unique (kind of like my 05 SI but way better looking)...not too hot about the current SI coupe or sedan.

That is still the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. As soon as I finish typing this, I'll need to purge my stomach.
