It seems like Mazda has taken lots of good design elements from the Lexus IS series. From the aerodynamic body to the twist of the headlight and the taillights.
I am sure it will get lots of attentions from the buyers since mos people are not willing to spend more than 35k for a compact sedan in North America.

This car looks better than the Civic and Mazda should try to steal sales from Honda, Toyota, VW and Subaru. The new US spec 6 is somewhat a dissapointment but the 3 is really sharp. Good job.

It's like a Japanese version of the Peugeot's 207 series at the front with the rest being a downsized Mazda 6 which just looks great.
The cabin is uncluttered and very chic.
Another good design and well placed car for this segment even with all the gloom that's going on around the auto industry

And no one that reads this blog thinks the front grille is disproportionately large? Overly Happy?

The grill is a little "too happy" I agree. Well, add some metal teeth it might be a shark.
