For various reasons (especially as gas is becoming ridiculously expensive), Nissan decided to slightly modify the pricing of most of its North American line-up, hopefully the changes are minor, more details from the Press Releases:
Nissan Announces Sentra, Murano Interim Pricing Adjustments
Nissan recently announced interim pricing adjustments on the 2008 Nissan Sentra and 2009 Nissan Murano, effective immediately. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* increases $100 on all 2008 Nissan Sentra models. The 2009 Murano, which went on sale last January 15 with an MSRP reduction of $1,500 compared to the previous generation Murano, increases $540 for all models.
Nissan North America Announces D&H Pricing Adjustments
Nissan North America, Inc. announced increased Destination & Handling (D&H) charges on all 2008 and 2009 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, effective today. D&H charges go up $35 on all Nissan vehicles (except the Nissan GT-R, which went on sale July 7th) and $50 on all Infiniti vehicles.
New D&H charges for Nissan vehicles are $695 for Versa, Sentra, Altima, Maxima and 350Z; $780 for Frontier, Xterra, Pathfinder, Murano, Quest, Rogue, Armada and Titan; and $1,000 for the Nissan GT-R.
New D&H charges for Infiniti vehicles are $815 for G35 Sedan, G37 Coupe and M35/M45; and $865 for EX35, FX35/FX50 and QX56.
