All New Biante, by Mazda
This morning Mazda announced the scheduled release of an all new eight seater Minivan, the Biante. We don't have much information right now, but Mazda released some pictures and an official video of this new Minivan slated to be sold here in Japan later this summer. Mazda will hold a press conference in July, so stay tuned to Nihon Car!

With a stylishly wide design, this new Minivan is targeting young couples with children... We're looking forward to getting our hands on it in order to give you an accurate report.

HIROSHIMA, Japan—Mazda Motor Corporation today announced its newly developed eight-seat minivan, the Mazda Biante, which will go on sale in Japan during summer 2008.

The name ‘Biante’ was coined from the English word, ‘ambient,’ to create the impression of a unified interior space that contributes to an enjoyable and comfortable in-car experience for all the vehicle’s occupants.

Developed exclusively for the Japanese market, the Biante features best-in-class interior space, distinctive, athletic styling and superior dynamic performance. All of which provides the driver and passengers with a pleasing driving experience.

Further information and images are available on the Biante custom website (in Japanese only) at: http://www.biante.mazda.co.jp/pre/

If you cover the front badge and let me guess, I would say it is a crossover from Peugeot and a Japanese.

It looks great and feel more aerodynamic than Stepwgn.

We are begging for more details coming ...

We love our Mazda 5...but will be ready for the next size up next year...I am anxious to see the US version. This is a bit radical looking...but I like the direction. I hope our version is a more grown up 5.
