Subaru WRX STI Spec C
One thing for sure with Subaru Imprezas, the longer their name the more fun you'll have behind the wheel. This explains why the Impreza WRX STi is better than the Impreza WRX... and why the new Impreza WRX STi Spec C should be the new king of the hill, until an S204 or Type RA-R version comes out that is.

The "Spec C" should be somewhere around 70 kilos lighter thanks to an aluminum boot, compact 12V battery, thinner glass and lighter roof, not to mention a smaller fuel tank. Yes, that also means more frequent visits to your favorite gas station.

The power should be around 300hp as any Scooby fan can expect. More news on the Impreza WRX STi Spec C soon.

Is this still going to be in hatchback form to pander to all the "rally" junkies? They need to bring back the sedan version. The current WRX sedan and hatchback is unbearable to look at.

It's almost like this new Impreza hatch version in STI or C-spec form is the new Lancia Delta Integrale of the 21st century.
Very, very nice indeed Subaru.

>> Most WRC Rallye cars that are winning the events at the moment are in hatch versions', which is just a good reason for Subaru to switch to.
It helps in aerodynamics ( maybe not weight ) by shaving-off lot of that excess bulk the trunk puts on the car which helps a lot in stability.
Plus the new sedan version does'nt really look good at all - only released for the U.S. market.
