During the strong Japanese years when the speculative bubble was at its biggest, Japan was a country where everything was possible like a 4x4 van, half truck, half tank, half 4x4, ... . The Delica was born (see picture below).
Mitsubishi ceased the production and sale of this really particular 4x4 and it's not uncommon to see one driving around on Japanese roads.
20 years after the creation of the Delica, we bring you the D5 or Delica 5.
The engine of this 6-seater is a very interesting 2.4l DOHC MIVEC, the same block that powers the Outlander. The electronic system that controls the 4WD can also be found on that other model.
When it comes to the design, the keyword is "Super-Mobility", and you can use this D5 on the inside and outside as you want. The interior of this muscle van is designed to give you a sensation of robustness, and a mix of metal and leather give you a comforting sporty and protected sensation.
To ensure the security, this D5 gets LTA or Lane Trace Assist and ACC or Adaptive Cruise Control.
