Founded in 1981 and based in Tokyo, Blitz just couldn't miss this new Edition of the Tokyo Auto Salon.
This year, their booth left no room for surprise with the latest kings of the Japanese automotive market in attendence; the Nissan GT-R (CBA-R35), Subaru Impreza WRX STi (GRBA5EH), and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X (CBA-CZ4A).
As usual, the Blitz machines were light colored, sported minimal livery (which is not always the case), and featured various equipment from the performance parts catalog such as the Nur Spec DT Double Tube exhaust on the Evo X and a huge Street-Racing/Drift-like rear wing. The Impreza also had its own rear wing and a little sticker on the side to inform us of a new turbocharger placed under the bonnet... Unfortunately the numbers were nowhere to be found again this time around, but with the impressive quad exhaust pipes you can't go wrong can you?
No surprise either with the R35 GT-R, barely modified in appearance. It seems that this year, most tuners (with the exception of Greddy) lacked time to really come up with a dramatically tuned GT-R, or maybe they all wanted to keep it clean and take advantage of its sweet original lines...sure thing is, we're not done with the GT-R yet!
