Leakage, the Honda Fit 2009 looks good !
This should have been kept under secret, but what the hell, and here you are, the official picture of the new Honda Fit, which was supposed to be shown for the Tokyo Motor-show...

It seems that Honda is a bit out of the touch when it comes to secrets; yesterday, while driving back to the office I came across a whole truck of new Honda Accords, not even yet announced in Japan. Well, this will become official anyway in a few months, but still... they were in the wild without anyone caring at all.

But back to our little Fit. Even if we still know too little about this car, we can tell you for now that the Fit will receive either a 1.3l engine or a 1.5l i-VETEC one... And this is all for now... so let’s wait until the TMS 2007 in order to grab more information about this new cute little city car.

looks pretty cool, nicely evolved from the old model. nice photography. incidentally, not sure how secret it is supposed to be, it has already been road tested by autocar magazine at the honda test facility in hokkaido. both the 1.3 and 1.5 engine will be made available as per the old model. the vtec engine is slightly up on power on the old 1.5 too at 118 psi.

Looking more like a mini-mpv with the front outermost side window. For better front outward visibility
With a dash of Civic front nose.
And the 'new' edge Honda design theme carried in some areas.
Will be sold here in Australia as the Jazz.
It is a very nice evolution.

It looks a lot better. It could make a fine daily/around town car with decent storage for it's size.

Any idea if a hybrid model is in the works?
