The Australian “Car life” is something that we rarely come to discuss on NihonCar.com and I must admit that, well there are few things over there that hardly will excite us to talk about… BUT, there are always exception, like for example this absolutely fantastic TRD Aurion, only available for the Australian market… Lucky them!
In a nutshell, TRD propose 2 version of this Toyota Aurion with the 3500S (available in our photo gallery) and the 3500SL. Not only our 3500S look goods with its sporty body kit, we have to admit that the Australian TRD team must have a lot of fun tuning this Aurion. Under the hood you will find the finest 3.5l V6 supercharged engine that you can get on this kind of vehicle with the Eaton TVS (Twin Vortice Series), which develop 323PS and 400Nm of Torque this stick together with a 6 speed automatic gear box…. YUMMY ! TRD claims that both the 3500S and SL can achieve a maximum speed of 250km/h and will sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 6.09 seconds on a 1.5t car (For your reference we succeed to get a 5.5 sec sprint on a 2.5t LS600hL... The FWD definitively doesn't help).
