Ever since its release in Japan in 2001, the Honda FIT has come a long way and can now claim an outstanding 2 MILLIONS units sold worldwide, the figures go like this:

JAPAN= 962,000 since June 2001
EUROPE = 417,000 since December 2001
ASIA = 230,000 since January 2002
SOUTH AMERICA = 151,000 since April 2003
CHINA = 173,000 since September 2004
NORTH AMERICA = 77,000 since April 2006
