Nissan announced that the pre-orders for the Micra C+C (Coupe + Convertible) have started. This model will be introduced in Japan in mid-July.
"It was about time !" This is what our Japanese friends must have been thinking as the Nissan Micra C+C was initially launched in Europe back in November 2005. In a few weeks they will finally be able to enjoy the Coupe, the Convertible, the 1.6 liter (HR16DE) engine and 5MT gearbox or E-ATX AT at a starting price of 2.499.000 Yen ((15.300€ - 20.500$).
The vehicles will be produced in the Sunderland plant (UK) and modified to meet the Japanese market requirements. The production will be limited to 1500 units.
