There is a handful of tuners out there in Japan but when you really want something to be done the right way (with total control) you might as well do it yourself, that's probably what Mazda is thinking every time they release a new M'z Tune version of one of their cars.
This time they worked on the Roadster which has been modified many times already (in Japan) by companies such as
AutoExe or
DAMD with excellent results.
So what is the "Zoom Zoom" manufacturer coming up with to make their baby stand out ?
Well not that much aesthetically because you simply don't want to mess too much with the design of a car that was sold at
800.000 units ever since 1989 !
Of course the car still presents a new bodykit with increased aggressiveness, the new BILSTEIN suspensions also make the car look sportier as it is (slightly) lowered.
Under the hood the M'z Tune is equipped with a new air filter but the flywheel has been replaced too, so is the exhaust. As a result you won't mistake the sound of a regular Roadster with this version.
Of course the inline 4 engine remains the same, producing 170HP on the rear wheels it makes of the Roadster (Miata/MX5) one of the most affordable and fun to drive car around. This M'z Tune version is simpy making it even more attractive.
