I won't hide it, I'm a big fan of Subary, I even own a Legacy, and to my delight I received an email from the manufacturer with some news concerning their Legacy model.
The manufacturer had a lot of success in the WRC and snatched the title about a year ago with a STI tuned model. The Legacy Wagon and B4 have recently adopted some technical and aesthetical changes.
A few weeks ago, we were able to test the Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.0GT SpecB (
here's the link to our review of that car), and now this model, as well as the B4 version, underwent some adjustements by the STI engineers. The result are a Legacy Wagon "Tuned by STI" and a Legacy B4 "Tuned by STI" (AT or MT).
So what did the engineers come up with? Not less than 19 changes, be it on the design or the technical side. Here are the main changes:
- Front Under Spoiler STI,
- Rear Spoiler STI
- 18" alloy rims
- Bilstein dampers
- Brembo break
- Limited editions leather seats
- Sport Mufflers
- New speedometer with a 260km/h limit.
Depending on the model you choose (B4 or Wagon) and the type of gearbox (AT or MT), you will pay between 27000 and 28000 EUR for this car in Japan.
