Last Tokyo Motor Show was anything but exciting and today’s first Tokyo Auto Salon press day was headed the same direction, until we arrived at Toyota’s impressive booth full of surprise and wonders mainly thanks to its GAZOO Racing GRMN series and G Sport package.
The G's series is designed for customers who strongly desire to own a unique vehicle, offering them a personalized interior and exterior design along with sports-driving performance. TMC has directly designed this sports conversion series, instead of the conventional approach of outsourcing development to a customization firm.
And included this fantastic FT-86 G Sports Concept as well as this sporty looking Mark X G Sports Concept.

Other vehicles to be included in the G Sport Concept Family are the mini Van Noah, Voxy and the Best seller Hybrid Prius.
And let’s talk about Prius for a second with this magnificent Custom Plus Concept that will unfortunately most probably never see light, but which happen to offer a pretty clean and sport attitude to our Eco friendly car.
Strong with its cooperation with GAZOO Racing Toyota unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon the GRMN Series including different models like GRMN SPORTS HYBRID Concept, based on a Toyota MR and powered by an 3.3L V6 Hybrid engine developing 400Hp with AWD, and this nice little GRMN FR Hot hatch Concept based on the Toyota Yaris.
If so far Toyota cars were mainly used for this TAS 2010, we had the chance to discover a very intriguing but so beautiful IS-F CCS Concept featuring many carbon part including its bonnet and diffuser that and wearing a beautiful orange paint job. Unfortunately no information were made available regarding our IS-F true power.
Finally the Toyota Technical College of Tokyo proudly show off its EV car based on a Toyota Sport 800 giving to our legendary classic sport car a 2nd youth and a more eco friendly engine.
Definitely this Toyota Tokyo Auto Salon was a must and if you have time this week end, make sure to take time to enjoy this booth!
